Contributions

The project accepts haikus, haigas, haishas, haibuns, tanka related to the geographical zone (see definition on the project description).

Subjects

Articles are related to haiku, haiga, haisha, haibun, tanka in the Northern scope. The idea is to explore the influence of nordicity on these literary genres.

Note about articles

Length and composition

  • The length will not be more than three sheets long.
  • A maximum of three pictures
  • An article ha to be structured, argued. It will convey ideas, thoughts, concepts in order to induce thinking.

Formats to use

  • Texts in Word, TXT or better ODF format. The text must not be in Word textarea but in a layout as simple as possible to easy the transposition in Web format. These latter will be adapted according to the site styles.
  • Haiku and tanka in TXT format (plain text) to easy the processing.
  • Pictures and haiga in JPG format (not JPEG2000). Picture dimensions could be modified. The size of the files will be lowered according to the good practices of internet edition (30-50kB).
  • Pictures used for the page headings : the extracted zone will be of 750 x 200 pixels.
  • Haigas could be in SWF format of less than 300kB.
  • Powerpoint presentations (pps and ppt format) won't be accepted because of the lack of standardization of the MSOffice format.

Author's Rights.

The contributor submitting an article, a work, an image or whatether other material, implicitely admits that he/she has all the rights to do it. The editor of the site will not be responsible of any further problems. The contributor must make sure of the legality of the submitted materials.

The author keeps all his/her rights on his/her contribution without interruption. The project doesn't require exclusivity or first publication.

Submissions

  • Submissions are not a garantee of publication.
  • Sending can be made by email (serge_tome AT yahoo.fr) or postal CD. As the project is running, there are no dead line for sending.
